The Marine Mammal Care Center at Fort MacArthr offers hands-on Veterinary and Husbandry internship opportunities to undergraduate college students, graduates and veterinary students. 

Husbandry internships are open to graduate and post-graduate candidates 18 years or over, and veterinary internships are open to candidates 18 years or over who are currently enrolled in a vet or pre-vet program.

We currently offer spring rotations (starting in Jan-Feb) and summer rotations (starting in April-August). Interns are expected to commit 30 hours/week for a period of 10 weeks.

Interns are responsible for their own transportation, housing and medical insurance. Additionally, foreign students are responsible for arranging all necessary visas and permits.
